About me and my therapy practice
I appreciate that it is often very hard to take the first step and ask for help if you are struggling with difficult issues. So I would like to offer you a confidential and comfortable environment where you can bring your thoughts and personal difficulties which we can work through together and try and make sense of.
Counselling and Psychotherapy can help in the management of a wide range of issues like anxiety, depression, bereavement etc. Being able to talk freely and share our feelings often gives us a new perspective to consider which can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves.
I have a background in Education and have worked for many years with young people as a counsellor in a Secondary School. I also work with adults and the elderly and most recently I have worked with disabled clients, particularly those with vision impairment.
An effective and trusting therapeutic relationship can provide the catalyst for a positive change in your life enabling you to reach the right choices and solutions.
Please come and meet me to discuss your issues and decide if I am the right counsellor for you. Or drop me an email if you would like further information or have any questions.
