About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I am qualified to work with Children, Adolescents, Adults as well as Couples and Families.

In our first session I think it would be nice for you to talk to me about what is going on for you and the goals you would like to set for your therapy. 

My sessions are client led but I do work solution focused and adapt the counselling sessions to your needs and requirements.

I only have two goals with my clients:

1) is that I help you to come to a place of understanding and acceptance for what is going on for you; and  

2) two help you to manage and cope with your emotions, behaviours and thoughts.

This is because the only thing we can control in life is our own emotions, behaviours and thoughts we cannot control what others think, say or do.

When we can accept ourselves we can accept others.

I use creative and solution focused techniques, where appropriate, to explore the issues you bring into the counselling room.

I have worked with a variety of clients from anxiety, bereavement, bullying,

emotional & relationship conflicts, life & work-related stress and more.

I offer you a non-judgemental, caring and safe space where we can work together on what is important to you.  My our purpose and passion is to support you in reaching emotional freedom from your past, present or future concerns.

I will work with you, listen to you and help you make changes or improve your wellbeing which means that you get to place where you are comfortable, healthy and happy.

I will walk with you on your journey - listening, supporting and understanding

My first session

There are forms to complete, which I do send to you ahead of the meeting to save time and we then just go over them.

Then in our first session we will discuss what is going on for you and the goals you would like to set for your therapy.
