About me and my therapy practice
I help people discover and nurture their self-esteem and become more comfortable with themselves and their emotions, it's not something which comes all that naturally in the West of Scotland. I blend Classic CBT with modern Compassion Focussed Therapy and together we work towards uncovering the roots of your difficulties, re-appraising how current coping strategies are working and also help you foster a kindness for yourself which really helps with depression and all types of anxiety, including OCD, panic, and in particular social anxiety.
Usually 6 to 12 (occasionally up to 18) sessions are enough to effect lasting life changing outcomes, and we're always working towards your goals.
