About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist with a focus on psychodynamic modalities. This means that I draw from a number of different psychotherapeutic approaches such as psychoanalysis, existential therapy, person-centred approaches, intercultural therapy with a focus on psychodynamic modalities. I believe that feelings are our compass and focusing on feelings to guide us through the therapeutic landscape often leads to discoveries of insight.
My first session
Once you decide to start psychotherapy, we will have an initial 50-minute session during which you can tell me about yourself and what you would like achieve in therapy. It also gives me an opportunity to tell you more about myself and how I work. You can ask any questions you may have on psychotherapy therapy in the initial session.
If you decide to move forward with therapy, we will agree a regular day and time each week for our sessions for 50 minutes.
