About me and my therapy practice
Over my life course, I’ve worn many hats and learned that sometimes we need to change our chosen path. I decided to follow through with a dream I had and trained to become a qualified counsellor.
My core values reflect the qualities I’d like to have with a personal therapist. Knowing I am being listened to and having a strong sense my thoughts and feelings count is invaluable. I will endeavour to help you relax and use some humour when appropriate because therapy can be fun.
I am passionate about being welcoming and inclusive without judgment. I meet the person for who they are.
Building trust in the client-therapist relationship must be managed well and professionally. I will provide a safe space, and at times hold you when it feels hard.
My interests are varied, I am an active Advocate for LGBTQ+ community and lobby to end Violence Against Women and Girls. I am a take me as you find me woman who views life as a journey of discovery.
I offer Integrated therapy to clients who would like to explore what makes them the person they are. The process is person-centred and led by my client enabling learning to be at a pace that reflects their need.
Currently, each session is remote from your chosen private and safe location. It lasts for 50 minutes using Zoom at a time and day we agree in advance.
My first session
If you would like to book a FREE initial Assessment to meet and discuss how we can work together simply go to my website and select a day and time.
During the first appointment time will be taken to explore expectations related to therapy. It offers an opportunity to decide if we are a good match and to decide whether to proceed.
I will send you an Agreement and Consent form prior to beginning your therapy. Information retained by me is fully regulated by GDPR and adheres to BACP practice guidelines.
