About me and my therapy practice
I Hello, my name is Natasha and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor. I run my private practice in Saltaire in Bradford offering both online and face to face sessions. As well as working in general practice with a broad range of issues, I have worked in specialist organisations for sexual abuse and domestic abuse. For more information please visit my website www.natasha-krystyna-counselling.co.uk
I understand how daunting and difficult it can be making the decision to start any form of therapy, particularly finding the right service or therapist for you so let me explain a little about myself and the way I work. My training is in the Person-Centred model, which means I offer a calm, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I also work creatively to support the process when words simply just aren't enough. Quite often when making the decision to attend therapy we are unsure of what has brought us to this place, and that’s ok, we can work together, at your pace, exploring your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Sometimes, some of these are buried deep or locked away in our sub-conscience which is why we don’t always know why we think, feel or behave the way we do. Working with a trained therapist can help you to process and understand the things you are struggling with.
Practice description
Depending on your needs, I offer both long and short term therapy, which we will review regularly to discuss how you are finding our work together; whether you feel that therapy is benefiting you, if you feel we’re sufficiently focused on your goals or if you feel we need to do anything differently. Sessions are available both face to face and online.
My first session
Our first session is an exploratory session where we will start my taking some information to establish what’s brought you to therapy at this time. We’ll then explore your goals and what you hope to gain from sessions along with establishing how we will work together such as time, day and session frequency.
