About me and my therapy practice

For over 26 years, in the NHS, I worked in a psychological therapies department as a Senior Psychological Counsellor, and as a Clinical Supervisor.

Therapy with me will offer time in a safe, non-judgmental, reflective space - via telephone or on Zoom only.

As well as healing time, therapy offers a place in which to gain a new understanding of yourself and your place in the world, and the opportunity to find a new, more comfortable way of being.

I am a Senior Accredited member of the BACP. I work as an integrative psychological therapist, an EMDR Practitioner and a Clinical Supervisor, based in Worsley, Manchester.

My core training was person centred but I now work in an integrative way, drawing on a broad range of theoretical approaches and my years of experience. This allows me to adjust the interventions I use to adapt to the needs of the person in front of me, whether they be issues around communication difficulties or significant trauma sustained in childhood or more recently.

About me and my therapy practice

I've worked as a Senior Psychological Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor in a psychological therapies department in the NHS for over 25 years.

After my Psychology degree, I was a Registered Mental Nurse for several years, before I trained as a Counsellor 28 years ago. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Supervision.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space in which supervises are able to explore the work they do with clients.

Regular time with an experienced Counselling Supervisor is essential for reflection, perspective and self care.

I offer Zoom or telephone sessions only.
