I offer an integrative approach to counselling which means I draw on different counselling theories in my work as appropriate to each person and/or the issues that present in counselling. One of the benefits of such an approach is that I can be flexible to make sure you receive a counselling service that you feel is helpful to you. I offer long term or brief telephone, online or home visits. I work to provide an opportunity for you to work towards living in a more satisfying way.  Providing a safe confidential space for you to clarify your feelings without being judged and to help you look at and understand what it is you would like to change.

I am a counsellor in Walton, Hersham, and surrounding arears. I have 27 years experience of direct counselling work on a one to one basis, also group ,work and significant experience in the field of addictions.  You might feel anxious, depressed, frustrated, angry, stuck, alone and it may be difficult opening up to family or friends.  I will work with you on improving your relationship with yourself and your relationship with others.  I am here to provide you with a secure non judgemental space to talk.  We can discuss what brought you to counselling and explore your fears and worries and what you would like to change or accept.

There is usually anxiety around the first session and you have taken a huge step in getting in contact. In our first session we can explore the reasons you are thinking of having therapy and for any questions you may have and to see if I am the right therapist for you.
