About me and my therapy practice
FYI: I am not taking any more bookings at present.
I am a fully qualified and highly experienced counsellor and I work both privately and I am the Peterborough Regional College Counsellor.
My comfortable consulting room is in the Bretton area of Peterborough, where I provide a sensitive and confidential counselling service for individuals.
My many years of extensive training has influenced the way I work and has helped to bring a richness to what I can offer you. I work in a very fluid way, getting to know you and tailoring the counselling to your needs. I am trained Integratively and work in a Person Centred way, helping you to link to your past (Psychodynamic). I can also show you techniques to support yourself in the present and I will encourage you to be aware of how you feel on many levels, so you can become holistically self-aware.
There is an option for you to work with me, using other materials to help you to make sense of things, such as painting, drawing (you do not need to be an artist or feel you have to meet certain levels, just express yourself as you need). I will help you to become aware of how your body responds to your moods and how you feel as a whole person. I will not judge you, as we are all human.
I offer short, medium or long term counselling, and sessions are 50 minutes in duration.
