About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and highly experienced counsellor working privately with over 22 years experience.
I work from a comfortable consulting room in the town centre of Peterborough, where I provide a sensitive and confidential counselling service for individuals (16+ and adult).
I offer short, medium or long term counselling, and sessions are 50 minutes in duration.
I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm - 8pm.
In these difficult times with the coronavirus and fears around keeping safe, I can offer phone or WhatsApp counselling to give continuity to your counselling journey.

The many years of training I have taken has influenced the way I work and has helped to bring a richness to what I can offer you.
I work in a very fluid way, getting to know you and tailoring the counselling to your needs. I am trained Integratively and work in a Person Centred way, helping you to link to your past (Psychodynamic if you choose). I can also show you techniques to support yourself in the present. I will work with you to become holistically self aware on many levels, so as to aid your ability to reach your full potential.
There is an option for you to work with me, using other creative materials and modes thus helping you to make sense of things in different ways, (you do not need to be an artist or feel you have to meet certain levels, just express yourself as you need). I will help you to become aware of how your body responds to your moods and how you feel as a whole person, working with you without judgement and aiding you in not judging yourself, as we are all human.
My first session
In the first session, we will meet at an agreed day/time for 50 minutes and this session is, in part, about both of us deciding if we can work together. It is important that we both feel at ease and can see ourselves working together going forward.
This session is a chance for you to ask me any questions you may have and for me to ask you some specific questions that will help me to determine your suitability for counselling at this time, or whether you may need a different type of help from another source.
