About me and my therapy practice
if you are looking for support through a challenging time in your life, I will listen to you and your experience. I offer empathetic Counselling that is at your pace, and non-judgemental.
I have experience in anxiety, depression, and loss, this may be a loss of a job, relationship or the death of someone close to you.
I volunteered in a Hospice as a bereavement support counsellor. And another setting, working with older students, stresses of college, university, work, family, friends, and own sexuality.
Being born in the UK, and being Turkish background, I also have a good knowledge of different cultures and beliefs.
The way I work is integrative.
This means I use the three main counselling approaches, this might include looking at past events,
unhelpful thinking patterns,
or the way you relate to people,
but we agree a focus, and discuss this at your pace, I will not direct or make you discuss things you are not ready to look at.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute initial phone session, its an opportunity for us to talk, and you may ask any questions, and it is a way to see if we can work together.
I am currently offering social distanced face to face counselling, Telephone or Online sessions.
