About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, trained in psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy. This means that I have knowledge from different approaches to tailor the therapy to the unique needs of the client.
Practice description
I will provide a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space for exploration of your difficulties. The space is non-directive, for you to bring what feels most important to you, whether that be a problem in the present or something unresolved from the past. We will explore your current problems as you see them, and work together to develop a deeper and new understanding of yourself, which can bring about new perspectives and ways of being. In addition to focusing on the here and now, exploring past relationships and experiences can be an important part of the work, as they impacted and shaped who you are today.
Using a holistic approach we will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to help to build a deeper insight into your experience. The awareness gained through this process can allow you to connect and engage in life with more freedom and authenticity and to make positive change.
What I can help with
Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
