About me and my therapy practice

I offer a variety of settings for my therapy, outdoor, indoor and online.

Walking Therapy - £50 per 60 minute session

Working together outdoors we can experience the healing effects of the natural environment, some gentle physical exercise as well as the freedom and space to speak about the issues which bring you into therapy. I tend to use local woodland, if you have any other preferences we can discuss alternative locations.

Talking Therapy - £50 per 60 minute session

I offer a lovely, relaxed space where you will feel held and safe where we will initially discuss the issues you want to deal with, often several issues will be present at the same time. We will gradually build a holistic picture of your life, looking at your past, present and perceived future. We can explore all aspects of life; emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, work, home, relationships, friends and family.

If you prefer to work online we can use Zoom.

Couples, Family and Other Relationships Therapy - £70 per 60 minute session, £90 for a 90 minute session

Working in my therapy room, I offer a chance for couples/family members/other relationships to work together using a structured approach to find solutions, to facilitate clients to be heard by one another and to have a safe space to tackle difficult conversations.

Practice description

The main focus of my work is to build a trusting relationship where clients can feel safe and heard. I aim to work flexibly to accommodate client’s other commitments whilst also encouraging commitment to the process. The majority of my work involves talking therapy as well as the use of some gentle creative interventions when it feels helpful. I will signpost you to books and other self care practices if it feels appropriate.

My first session

Once you have made contact we can arrange a free 15 minute phone call or Zoom to briefly chat through the issues which bring you in to therapy.

I will send you my short client questionnaire to fill out so that once we meet for the first time face to face we are ready to begin our therapeutic work together.
