About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP (Member) integrative therapist who specialises in children and young people.
I have over ten year’s experience working with children, young people and adults.
My settings have been nurseries, play centres, primary schools, and secondary schools and where I am a "lone worker", I offer support to an EAP for patients who have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses and need emotional support for their anxiety, depression, bereavement and other related mental health disorders.
Practice descriptionI work in a warm no-judgmental way and where I seek to understand the challenges that an individual is faced with whilst creating an environment that is safe for one to express and explore their thoughts and feelings.
My first session
The first session of counselling is a trial session to see if you are happy to have sessions and to share any concerns you may have about therapy, for example, any thoughts that may come up in session and to see if we are both the right fit for each other to start accordingly.
