About me and my therapy practice

Working as an individual, relationship and psychosexual therapists with clients face to face or online as an experienced, qualified and insured counsellor/psychotherapist, accredited with the National Counselling Society (MNCS Accred), registered with the BACP (MBACP) and working in private practice. I work privately with individuals, couples and polyamory groups and families seeing clients who may be experiencing anxiety, Low mood/depression, relationship and/or family issues, sexual issues, OCD, childhood trauma and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). domestic abuse, bereavement, conflict relating to sexuality, long term illness, redundancy/employment problems.

The location is close to Bury town centre, opposite the Town Hall and within a short walk of the Bury Metrolink and Bus station.

It's my belief is that many of us, at some point in our life, experience feelings that conflict with and affect our behaviour and thought process. These feelings may cause us to disengage, become distressed, possibly make us feel unsure of who we are and experience a loss of direction. It’s not always easy to talk about feelings and emotions but I will offer you a safe and confidential place where you can talk freely and without fear of judgement. Therapy is an opportunity to talk about your concerns where I will listen and hear you, without bias and in a way which you may not be able to do with your friends or family. We can work together to help improve your wellbeing so you’re able to make the changes in your life that you would like to happen. It's an opportunity to learn or remember how important it is to invest in ourselves and to recognise our worth and value.
