About me and my therapy practice
Qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor and Mental Health Practitioner. Over 20 years experience of providing therapeutic interventions for adults and young people.
Specialisms include LGBTQI, Black and Minority Ethnic, alternative lifestyles/relationships.
Psychosynthesis is a transpersonal therapy that combines elements of Western psychotherapy with Eastern spiritual traditions and addresses the idea of a spiritual component to our existence. It is holistic and works on the whole person rather than just the presenting issue.
Registered Member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Practice description
I work in an holistic way offering a space not only to look at the presenting issue, but to explore other areas of your life that arise such as a lifestyle or career change, exploring negative or outworn patterns of behaviour.
Sessions include the use of non verbal strategies such as Gestalt, bodywork, free drawing, dream work and visualization.
Therapy can be both short term or open-ended.
