About me and my therapy practice

Hello! đź‘‹

I am a registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist and I offer open-ended and time-limited therapy to individuals, couples and groups.

How are you?

It can be hard to acknowledge that you are not feeling okay, and even harder pretending that you are. If you’re struggling to cope with something, or you feel lost, or stuck, if you’re unhappy in your relationship/marriage, or you feel numb or detached after experiencing something traumatic; I may be able to help.

What I can offer

We can work together to develop a safe, reflective space for you to gently get in touch with your feelings; a crucial step in the healing process. We can work together for an agreed period of time with a specific focus in mind, or we could leave it open-ended to explore at greater depth. You can decide which feels right for you.

I provide a confidential space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, pay close attention to those deeply held beliefs and uncover any unexplored feelings or attitudes. We can work through any trauma that you may be experiencing in a way that feels safe and supportive to you.

It takes courage to acknowledge that you need some help. If you get in touch, I’ll respond to you promptly! We can arrange a face to face consultation where we can gently explore your reasons for wanting counselling, what you hope to gain, discuss any additional needs or concerns that you may have and get a sense of whether it feels right for us to work together.

I am ready to welcome you! Why not get in touch today?

About me and my therapy practice

Are you a Person-Centred Counselling or Psychotherapy trainee, in your final year of study? Or, perhaps you are newly qualified and feel that you would benefit from private one-to-one supervision. If you've answered yes to either of these, and are practicing currently, I may be able to help! I am currently offering a limited number of reduced fee spaces.

One-to-one supervision is a dedicated space for you and your client work. We can work together as you experience the therapeutic process in action, gain a greater understanding of the importance of boundaries in the therapeutic relationship, explore ethical considerations and dilemmas, setting up private practice, contracting and BACP accreditation requirements.

It is also a space to employ the use of self-inquiry to explore issues of race, difference and diversity; identifying any blind spots, prejudices or unconscious bias and their impact on you and your client work.

I offer a warm, accepting, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space in which you can feel safe to explore your fears and vulnerabilities as I support you in developing trust, integrity and pride in your practice whilst you continue to learn and grow from your experiences.

My experience enables me to support you within the context of your practice, whether this is in a placement as part of your course requirements, in addition to your placement supervision, other private or organisational / institutional settings or in your work in private practice.

Why not get in touch to explore your supervision needs and take advantage of this limited offer? I welcome your enquiry!
