About me and my therapy practice

I work with adult men, women and identifications in between. No matter your background, our similarities and differences, I aim to listen and understand you and create the conditions for you to move toward a fuller functioning you.

Being human is complex; many clients say they have a critical internal voice, suffer with self-doubt, lack of confidence, find it hard to talk about their feelings, seem unable to make a decision or change the way they do things.

As a counsellor I am familiar with these ways of being and can help you understand where they come from. The counselling process allows you to open up to the real you and your potential.

Practice description

My counselling style is evidence-based and founded in Person-centred Theory and I’m a big fan. I offer compassion and unconditional regard to all aspects of you throughout the work.

I might help you make decisions but won’t impose my beliefs or opinions onto you. If I don’t understand, I will ask and we’ll uncover your complexities together.

I endeavour to bring my kind honesty and authentic self to the work, along with professional boundaries, allowing you to feel safe. We create a working relationship built on trust and mutual respect. There may be tears but also laughter.

My first session
