I am available for appointments both online and face to face. I endeavour to be as flexible as possible, offering, weekday sessions with availability early morning, afternoon and evening.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, registered, experienced counsellor. I use an integrative approach which means I have an underlying theoretical foundation but incorporate techniques and skills from other theories which enables me to adapt to differing, individual, client needs.
I do not offer advice or solutions, I simply facilitate the process, to enable you to try move forward or come to terms with a situation challenge or an event in your life.
The following are some of the areas I work with: self esteem, lack of confidence, bullying, depression, anxiety, stress, impostor syndrome, abuse, loneliness, anger, family conflict, grief, loss, trauma, attachment, infidelity and relationship issues; this list is not exhaustive.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute online introduction 'meet and greet' with no obligation to go ahead with therapy going forward .
The first session will be an opportunity to obtain some background, explore your presenting challenges, thoughts and feelings and to determine whether counselling would be an appropriate intervention. This also provides a 'feel' for what it would be like to work together and to decide if you would like to engage in therapy; you are under no obligation to do so. This initial assessment is offered at a reduced fee from ongoing sessions.
