About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist, specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). You may be facing a difficult situation or relationship, struggling with a recognised condition such as anxiety or depression, OCD or low self-esteem, phobias, trauma, or other issues, or you may be generally unhappy and want to get more out of your life. CBT has been shown to help with most psychological problems. I can help you explore troubling thoughts, emotions, and situations, develop insight and learn new ways of being that serve you better. I work in a client-focused way to help you to achieve your goals for the counselling. My first session
I will send you more information, including the counselling agreement, before the first session. In our first session we will discuss what you would like to achieve from the therapy and how we will work together. Change can happen even in the first session and clients report feeling lighter and more hopeful.
