About me and my therapy practice

I offer a place to be safe to talk, a place to be listened to and really heard, a place to acknowledge feelings and to explore, understand, change and grow.

I have spent most of my life in sport as an international competitor and coach and have always been fascinated with the mind and it's ability to both help and hinder us in all our endeavours. This has also given me a passion to understand and help others in the many ways we all struggle with, and can respond to, the circumstances we encounter in our lives.

My approach is mainly Psychodynamic however I also draw on training in Psychology, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Behavioural Therapy as well as my life experience to provide a comprehensive toolkit to best serve my clients.

I continue to learn and undertake continuous professional development and regular supervision to stay up to date with current best practice.
