About me and my therapy practice

I am a registered counsellor with the BACP and currently nearing the end of my training to become a Counselling Psychologist. I work using a client-led method, drawing on various approaches to create a integrative practice and providing a tailored service to match your needs. These approaches include person-centered, CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and third-wave CBT. My ethos is that effective therapy stems from a good therapeutic relationship.

I have been providing counselling services for a number of years now in many different settings giving me a wide range of experience. My primary area of focus is working with those affected by pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion and unsuccessful IVF attempts. This is the area of my doctoral thesis, and an area which I am very passionate about.

Other areas that I have expertise in include feelings of depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and more.

I offer an inclusive practice that welcomes all.

Practice description

I am currently only running remote sessions, whether this be online or over the phone.

I am happy to work with clients on a short-term or long-term basis, adjusting to suit your needs.

I understand it can be nerve-wracking starting therapy, either for the first time or with a new therapist. I will be here to support you throughout the process.

I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

My first session

I offer an initial introductory 15 minute phone call.

If you decide to go ahead, we will spend the first session assessing your needs in more detail and going through a counselling contract.

Regular sessions will ideally take place on the same time and day each week and last for 50 minutes.
