About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in supporting, understanding and providing our young people and children with an early, appropriate intervention during a vital stage of their development. Having twelve years experience working in primary and secondary schools, I have been able to offer young people support to cope with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ensuring positive impacts on their life and often their families too.

The need for children's services are growing every day and evidence indicates a significant need for early mental health support. I believe that by promoting positive mental health, children will be less likely to suffer from mental health difficulties later in adult life and could improve attitudes to learning and positive outcomes in school.

Often, the child may invite parents to their session and family therapy could be beneficial in helping everyone.

I continue to support our young people in schools and working from my studio at home and value my role considerably.
