About me and my therapy practice

You may be seeking therapy because you feel like you are in crisis or perhaps you're seeking therapy as a consequence of a specific long-term problem, or a more general sense of wanting to understand yourself, and grow. I am here to listen to you without judgment, and to support you as you work through any challenges from the past and/or in the present.

I offer integrative therapy and draw upon person-centred experiential approaches in order to provide the necessary conditions for personal development and growth. I also offer cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which will help you to become your own therapist, by learning how to recognise and change your own automatic thoughts and behaviours.

Practice description

I am qualified in integrative therapeutic counselling and CBT. I am an accredited member of the BACP and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am also a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). I have experience of short and long-term counselling across a wide range of issues, ages and backgrounds. I worked for five years in an IAPT Centre providing NHS funded therapy to adults in West London, and I now run a successful private practice.

I offer a confidential space to work with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, bereavement/loss, low self-esteem, work-related issues, anger management and trauma.

My first session

In our first session together we can explore your hopes and goals for therapy. I can also answer any questions you might have about me or my practice, and we can work out how we might work together. In the first instance, you may want to commit to a limited number of sessions, or you may want a more open-ended approach. We can discuss this in our first session, and mutually agree our therapeutic contract.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP accredited integrative therapeutic counsellor and CBT practitioner. I have experience of short and long-term work across a wide range of presenting issues, ages and cultural backgrounds. I also have experience of working with person centred experiential counselling for depression (PCE-CfD). I worked for five years in an IAPT Centre in West London, both as an assessor and as a therapist. I now run a successful private practice in Sheffield and London.

I have experience of participating in group and one-to-one supervision in an NHS setting, as well as in private practice, involving a range of modalities. I have decided that it is now time to work towards the CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision and I am therefore offering low-cost supervision to my private practice supervisees.

As well as providing supervision, I can offer emotional and practical support through the BACP accreditation process.
