About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced Person - Centred counsellor running my practice Olive Tree Counselling from a light and airy home pod in Beaconsfield. I offer a relaxed, non judgemental, confidential space, where you can feel comfortable to express how you truly feel; talking openly about what you are experiencing.
I work extensively with children and young people as well as adults. My areas of work are emotional difficulties, self harm, general anxiety, low self esteem, bullying and depression.
I also specialise in bereavement, working with both adults and children in this area. Grieving is extremely painful, overwhelming and unpredictable. While I cannot fix this pain, as I cannot bring your loved one back; I can be with you as you work through the mourning process.
As your counsellor, my role isn't to offer a solution to your problems. I aim to support and empower you, rather than giving you the answers.
I provide counselling on a short-term or long -term basis; I also offer open ended sessions, or for an agreed period, depending on what suits you best.
My sessions are 50 minutes long
I work from home, in a light and airy pod.
My first session
I offer an initial telephone conversation to discuss why you are interested in counselling.
This gives you the chance to get an idea of how I work and whether this might be right for you.
