About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified counsellor, trained to draw on a broad range of theories and approaches and put them together in a way that suits you (“Integrative” in the jargon). As a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (www.bacp.co.uk) you can be assured that I have been trained to a recognised standard and that I work to a professional code of conduct.

I'm a little unusual in the counselling world as I have over 25 years' experience working in finance and technology. I’ve worked at board level in some huge organisations and at the coal face in some tiny ones. And things didn’t always go to plan. So I have first hand experience of the stresses that come from high pressured work environments and the challenges that real life can bring outside of the counselling room.

I work from my private consulting rooms in the heart of the City of London (close to Bank Station) and on the outskirts of Sudbury in Suffolk.

I work with individuals and couples aged 18 and over.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello

I'm a counsellor based just outside Sudbury on the Essex/Suffolk border. I work from my private consulting room on the outskirts of the town with discreet, free off-street parking.

There are many reasons why people consider counselling. It might be that you're living with a question that you'd like some help resolving or a feeling that you'd like to understand or change. Whatever your reason, I'm trained to draw on a wide range of psychological theories and approaches to come up with an approach to counselling that suits you.

You can talk safely and confidentially about whatever you want and I will listen without judgement. As a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I work to their professional codes of ethics and standards. So as well as my own professional standards, I'm accountable to a national professional body for the way that I work.
