About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor. I have a background training as a master NLP practitioner, holistic therapist and pet bereavement counsellor. I've had a wide range of experience, including working with teenagers, adults, carers and dementia sufferers.
When we feel safe and valued we are able to express ourselves more openly and discover new perspectives. I assist this process by creating a secure place of acceptance and respect, helping you to feel understood and relaxed.
I draw on various counselling approaches, so I can work in a way that best meets your needs. Through gentle exploration I encourage you to connect with your own inner wisdom and healthy self expression.
I've had a rich and diverse range of experiences in my life, all of which have allowed me to grow as an individual both personally and professionally. This has led me to the profound belief that within the pain of our most challenging times lies the healing opportunity for self discovery and personal growth.
All elements of our life and interactions are of significance and influence. I am particularly interested in our relationship with the natural world, and the therapeutic significance of our interactions with nature.
I am trained in TTouch for companion animals and have worked with clients exploring the profound emotional connection between us and our companion animals.
I work at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer flexible working arrangements in the form of weekly or fortnightly sessions. I work on a short term or long term basis and encourage clients to check in and review their progress as we go.
I work with adults and young people 12+, in person or online. My fees are £45 per 60 minute session
My first session
I offer a free initial 20 minute appointment.
Choosing the right counsellor can feel daunting and possibly a little overwhelming. It's important to take your time and not feel pressurised.
An initial conversation is an opportunity to get a sense of how comfortable you feel talking to me and whether my approach is right for you. It's a chance to consider any questions or concerns you might have and discuss what counselling can offer.
