Practice description

Weekly sessions are £55 for 18 years and over.

Under 18’s £60.

My first session

In the first session, I will be focusing on what brings you to counselling, looking at reasons for why you feel the way you do through an analytical approach. This can involve exploring childhood relationships, picking up on unconscious and subconscious communication and enabling you to have a conscious awareness of the source of where the issues may be stemming from. As part of my Psychodynamic way of working, we can explore and work through any re-occurring dreams that you may be having when dealing with trauma and complex trauma.  Finally, tailoring the counselling to be focused upon the goals you would like to achieve and incorporating some CBT techniques into  the Psychodynamic/ Analytical approach to help you manage any issues where, you feel CBT will help.

Please feel free to contact me for a brief chat, to help you decided if my way of working will enable you to achieve your goals and feel warm and safe to heal.
