About me and my therapy practice
I came into counselling following the help I needed in 2006 and have well established approaches which lead to change and not short- lived solutions. I can help you make positive changes; freeing you from difficult feelings such as anxiety or depression, angry or self -harming behaviour and to change any negative patterns of thinking. Whilst focusing on what matters, you will also build confidence, resilience and self- esteem as well as the skills to create a better quality of life. I also specialize in helping those who are struggling to make their relationship work and for those who suffer from Trauma.
Whilst I have much experience what I believe makes the difference is that I have lived with and worked though my own anxieties and difficulties in counselling. I know how tough talking about the more difficult parts of ourselves and our lives can be. We can though all do with a little extra help at times and having counselling can change your life for the better.
Never forgetting I provide an encompassing and supportive environment and allow trust to naturally build based on being open, warm and working together. You will receive the same care and commitment which changed my life as my aim for you is to leave knowing how to shape a life which is fulfilling and the tools to keep well and cope long term.
