About me and my therapy practice

I provide therapy for both individuals and couples in private sessions my private practice in Surrey, near Redhill and Reigate. I qualified in 2005 and also have over 35 years' experience in mental health as a social worker. In addition to my counselling practice, I work part-time in the NHS. Going to talk to someone about distressing thoughts and feelings is a daunting experience and I hope my down to Earth and practical approach will assist in your feeling more comfortable to talk. I try to be as authentic as possible and have many years of relating to people in many situations of distress and discomfort. It's important you feel comfortable and safe with your counselor, so I propose an initial meeting to decide whether I am the right person for you is the first step, then we can decide together whether counselling is right for you and what to do next.
