About me and my therapy practice

Prior to my counselling and psychotherapy training, my background was in psychology. I am an integrative psychotherapist, adapting to your individuality by blending multiple methods and theories including (but not limited to) person-centred therapy, attachment theory, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and compassion focused therapy.

Sessions will provide a non-judgmental, empathetic and confidential space where you feel able to explore more of yourself and share any difficulties you are experiencing, as this facilitates achieving your therapeutic goals.

Practice description

Previously, I have supported clients process depression, family issues, panic attacks, loss, chronic fatigue, other chronic conditions, burnout, stress, bullying, attachment issues, anxiety (including social anxiety, generalised anxiety and phobias), low self-confidence, bereavement, trauma, multiple versions of abuse such as coercive, narcissistic, neglect, domestic, emotional, financial and more.

My training:

  • PGDip in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy integrating the Person-Centred approach, attachment theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Graduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis, a therapeutic approach that focuses on personal growth and development.
  • BSc in Psychology.

My continuous professional development training is particularly focused on the following:

  • Polyvagal theory.
  • The neurology of trauma.
  • Unconscious Relational Patterns and Relational Methods.
  • Dialectical behaviour therapy skills.
  • Sensorimotor psychotherapy.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute video call as it gives me an opportunity to present my way of working before joining regular sessions.  This time is used to explore this starting point and, possibly set some goals for therapy. This structure will be adapted to each individual's needs.
