About me and my therapy practice

I qualified as a Psychodynamic Counsellor in 1989, as a Chartered Psychologist in 1996, as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in 2000 & as a Psychoanalytic Supervisor in 2001. I used to work in the NHS for many years, where I was the Clinical Lead of an Individual & Group Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Service. I have had a private counselling & psychotherapy practice since 1990 and I've been a Visiting Professor, teaching psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic since 2009. I'm a member of The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy, The British Psychological Society and The United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists - Council for Psychoanalysis & Jungian Analysis. I trained with and am a member of the Guild of Psychotherapists - a pluralistic training organisation based on the ideas of Jungian analysis & Psychoanalysis. My website is,
