About me and my therapy practice
I'm an experienced person-centred and humanistic counsellor and supervisor. I'm here to offer a safe, supportive space, where together, we can build a trusting relationship and talk about the issues that bring you to counselling.
I have been counselling clients since 2009 in a wide range of settings, including for the YMCA with students in a secondary school and for the NHS in a midwife-led service.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a student counsellor at a University for over-seas students and as a specialist mental health mentor at the University of Sussex. I also helped to set up and deliver counselling for over 4 years for The Haven Project, which specialised in working with survivors of sexual abuse and rape.
I offer a free 30 minute initial appointment where you can find out a bit more about me, how I work and if I'm the right counsellor for you.
I also offer supervision to counsellors. I'm experienced in both long-term and short-term work, solutions focussed work and of working with trauma and in an educational setting with students (18 years old and over). Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about how I work as a supervisor.
