About me and my therapy practice
Having come into Counselling/Therapy through my experiences as a client, I came to realise there is not a one size fits all approach.
Upon completing Certificate courses, I decided to train on an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (BACP Accredited) at the Iron Mill College in Exeter. My core approaches are; Attachment, Humanistic/Relational, Psychodynamic, and Transactional Analysis.
My Integrative training ensures I am able to adapt to the needs of my clients, I am able to offer short-term and long-term Counselling and Psychotherapy. Being a registered member of the BACP, I follow their Ethical Framework to ensure I work with clients ethically and safely.
Deciding to come to Counselling can feel daunting and I appreciate you may have thought about it for quite some time before deciding to take the first step, therefore our initial session is for us to get to know a little about each other to determine whether we can work together in a therapeutic way.
I am currently offering telephone/online sessions using FaceTime, Skype, and Zoom.
