About me and my therapy practice
People come to counselling for many different reasons; perhaps you have feelings of panic, anxiety or depression, have suffered a significant bereavement or loss, or you have relationship difficulties, you feel angry, unhappy, or you have a history of self-harm or reckless behaviour, whatever your reasons, I will be pleased to meet you and support you in your difficulties.
I am an experienced, accredited counsellor with many years experience of providing counselling in private practice, the NHS, the voluntary and charity sector.
Therapy offers a safe, confidential and compassionate space for you to think about and make sense of your experiences and feelings. Some clients come for a few sessions others for longer term work either approach can be valuable and effective.
My practice has been established since 2011 and provides a warm and professional approach to counselling and therapy.
During Covid19 sessions are either online or by telephone. I have undertaken thorough training to support online counselling and I am a member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO). The option of online and telephone sessions will continue to be offered going forward.
For face-to-face sessions I offer a choice of locations in central Cheltenham and in Bishop’s Cleeve.
