About me and my therapy practice
We often think that we can manage on our own, but there comes a point when we all need to reach out and seek support. Perhaps you feel anxious and stressed, or wake up with a sense of dread? Perhaps you are finding life overwhelming, are feeling angry, withdrawn or have a sense of sadness, hopelessness and despair.
Having someone to talk to who will listen, hear and validate how you are feeling without judgement can really help you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am an integrative, humanistic counsellor and I can offer you a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space where you will be heard and understood.
If you’ve never had counselling before then finding the right therapist can be confusing, intimidating and perhaps even a little bit frightening. So it’s important that you take time to find the right therapist for you.
Counselling is not about giving advice or telling you what you should or shouldn't do. It’s about understanding your experience and feelings and working with you to find the right way forward, so it’s vital that you find someone who you feel you can connect with.
I am an integrative Humanistic counsellor and have experience of helping people who suffer with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem, loss and childhood trauma. I meet clients weekly at a fixed time for 50 minute sessions in Hove.
My first session
It's very important that you find a therapist who is right for you, and so I am happy to offer an initial exploratory session for £25 so that we can meet and I can find out a bit more about you and what sort of therapy might be most helpful for you.
