About me and my therapy practice
For the past twelve years I have worked in NHS, educational establishments, voluntary sector and prisons. I offer counselling from a Person-Centred perspective but also have qualifications in CBT and Creative Writing so can adapt the therapy to meet your needs. I work in a flexible and respectful way.
By providing a warm therapeutic relationship, I can help you explore your issues and enable you to find a way forward. This might involve coming to terms with painful experiences, being more accepting of yourself, or feeling more confident in your own decisions. It might also involve developing coping strategies if that is what you feel you need.
I know it can be daunting to ask for help, and it can be difficult to know how to choose a counsellor. As a Person-centred counsellor, what you want, and how you see things, is very important to me. I offer a free half- hour consultation to allow you to get a sense of how I work and to decide if it fits for you.

About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, I aim to provide a collaborative and supportive relationship in which you can develop as a therapist. I work in a flexible and open way and am happy to explore any issues which may impact your practice. I work primarily from a person-centred perspective but also have a Diploma in CBT so have some knowledge of other modalities. I have a range of supervisory experience, working with individuals, groups, and as a tutor on a number of PG Diploma courses, including Strathclyde University, and Persona counselling group. I have been working as a supervisor for 8 years and find the work very rewarding. I find that the process of supervision can be really enabling for both of us.
