About me and my therapy practice
I am warm person offering a safe space to unpack life’s troubles in safety, and working at your own pace forge a way forward to resolve issues, helping you to get back on track.
As an integrative therapist I have skills that can help with an array of human challenges such as; anxiety, trauma, grief, guilt, shame, loss, betrayal, poor self image, negative and repetitive thoughts or generally feeling overwhelmed.
My approach is Humanistic, and this means that, I see you as an individual and will take into consideration all your needs including mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and creative.
As well as providing individual therapy, I have over ten years ongoing experience working in addiction treatment services; designing and delivering group work interventions aiding successful individual recovery from mental health and trauma issues.
I am a fully trained trauma informed counsellor and have undertaken extensive training in several other therapeutic modalities including; C.B.T and mindfulness based compassion focused therapy; which help to deal with many issues, from daily stresses, to creating a healthier lasting relationship with yourself.
Additionally, as an optional ending to every session I provide energy rebalancing: Energy rebalancing is a form of ‘Reiki’ - through simple breathing, visualisation and centring techniques your mind and body are quickly restored to calmness and peace.
Many people receiving energy rebalancing alongside traditional therapy find it to be very affective.
Once taught, these simple tools can be practiced confidently alone.
I feel confident that I can make a positive difference in your life and by extension help you to become a more integrated and self empowered person.

Initially, I offer a free half hour telephone consultation to help you decide if I may be off benefit to you.
