About me and my therapy practice

Hello- I’m Ina -a qualified, BACP registered,  Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor with experience of working with adults and young people.

By working with me you will experience a non-judgemental, safe, warm, personalised and confidential therapeutic space.

I work within the boundaries and ethical framework of the BACP.

When times are difficult and you need to be heard-when life feels challenging and you need to find some inner strength-counselling can be extremely beneficial; from processing thoughts and feelings to connecting with your inner self-and looking at ways to move forward, we can work together, relationally, to provide a safe and confidential space where you can process events, talk things through and ultimately feel supported.

The therapeutic relationship between us is the most powerful tool we have in our work together-putting your needs and agenda at the forefront of our work.

Our sessions will not provide solutions and advice-but instead aim to lead to you finding your own answers, by feeling supported, heard and seen.

Practice description

My approach is Integrative:I draw from different therapy models to offer a personalised, blended therapeutic space that moulds to your needs.

I  draw from a Psychodynamic training-which allows us to look at past events and explore how they have shaped the present moment, but also use DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy:based on  CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) ,but specially adapted for people who feel emotions very intensely) ,and work with metaphor-in a Humanistic way; putting you, the client, at the centre of our work together.

I have trained in working with anxiety, providing support through a mixture of neuroscience, grounding techniques and psychoeducation.

Whether you are suffering with anxiety, depression or would like to process a traumatic experience, here at Counselling Insight you will find a safe space, where you can feel comfortable enough to share your thoughts and feelings and explore life.

I am able to work multilingual : providing therapy in English, Romanian and Spanish.

I have undergone extensive extra training to be qualified in working online-via Zoom, telephone, email and instant chat.

My first session

If you decide to get in touch, the first step would be to arrange an initial session to discuss why counselling feels right for you at this time

I offer an initial 20-minutes consultation at £20 to enable you to meet me and decide if you feel comfortable working together.

It is also important for you to meet me and to discover if I am the right therapist for you.

In our following session, we usually go through the contract, and have an initial Assessment to see where you would like the support to take you.

Sessions are weekly, on the same day and at the same time.

A 6 weeks review help us to keep track of your process.

Collaboratively, we would work out the best way forward.
