About me and my therapy practiceI am an Integrative counsellor working face-to-face with adults (18+) in the Woking area. I provide a safe, therapeutic, non-judgemental and confidential environment in which we can talk freely and honesty about your concerns. Together, we can take the time to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours as well as reflecting on any relevant life, relationship or work issues.
Counselling can provide you with a safe space to think through issues and experience your emotions. It can help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings as well as potentially making connections between events and ideas. Although, it often feels as if our behaviours and personalities are fixed, I believe that change is possible. Counselling can help you see things in a different way or from a new perspective and this can lead to new ways of responding.
I have over 1000 hours of experience working with clients.
I work in a small suite of rooms used by a range of practitioners from counsellors to beauty therapists. It is a quiet, friendly, low-key, yet professional space. At most, 5 therapists are working there at one time.
My counselling room is on the ground floor and there are no steps to get in. There is parking in front of the building.
My first session
The first session has several purposes:
- a chance to meet each other face-to-face
- a chance for you to ask questions
- a chance for you to explore whether counselling with me at this time might be of benefit to you
- a chance to tell me a bit about what has prompted you to seek counselling
- a chance to set some goals
a chance to go through the counselling contract which underpins our work together
