I offer a limited number of reduced fee sessions, please ask about my availability for this should you feel this would be helpful for you.

About me and my therapy practice

am a qualified person-centred counsellor, CBT therapist and creative counsellor based in Southport. I provide a warm, non-judgemental, empathic and confidential space to explore and work through issues, barriers and ways of being that may be causing you distress, preventing you from moving forward or causing difficulty and challenges.

It may be that life feels generally overwhelming, you may have specific goals, or you may be impacted by something that feels too big to tackle alone.

I have experience with a wide range of issues and client experiences. I specialise in working with individuals who have a neurological condition or chronic health condition and their family members. For example, you may be coming to terms with the impact of a stroke, you may be experiencing the difficulties of living with Long Covid or CFS or you may have a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD.

It might be that none of the above apply but you are experiencing anxiety, depression or it may be that you are struggling to accept something that has happened. We can work together to help make sense of things and work through them.

I am also qualified to deliver CBTi which is CBT for insomnia. I use traditional talking therapy as well as creative methods and ways or working.

Practice description

We can meet either weekly or fortnightly for a 50- minute session, which will be either face to face, on the telephone or online via zoom.

My first session

Our initial session will be a free, up to 15 minute phone call. During this, we can talk about your therapy goals, ways of working and any concerns you may have. Please contact me to schedule an initial session.
