About me and my therapy practice
I offer a non-judgmental, professional and safe environment where you can explore what is troubling you without fear of criticism, rejection or blame. I have experience working with people suffering from a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship issues (including same-sex and non-monogamous relationships), addiction, historical and recent sexual abuse and general unhappiness, and I work with a diverse range of clients.
I hold a Masters In Philosophy from Cambridge, which sparked a life-long interest in theoretical issues such as ethics and philosophy of mind, and am qualified in integrative counselling, which combines a person-centred approach with psychodynamic theory. This means that we can explore your thoughts and feelings about your present situation while acknowledging the possible influence of past experiences, and work together to find a way forward.
I understand it takes courage to seek help and am happy to arrange a telephone chat for you to air your concerns about aspects of therapy without obligation to book an appointment.
Therapy takes place in a tranquil garden room which offers a confidential private space. There is free, off-road parking on site and as well as a regular bus route from the station/Oxford City Centre to the door.
