About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified therapist registered with the BACP. I help people overcome difficulties and challenges using talking therapy. In essence, I nurture emotional and personal growth, enabling people to create their own solutions and move forward with clarity. With a background in the commercial sector managing businesses and large teams, people have always been my passion. I now work as a therapist in my private practice, as well as for community mental health and bereavement services.

My approach to therapy is open, honest, and straightforward. I believe in building trust and forging working partnerships with my clients, so that our sessions can be as effective and beneficial as possible. I have natural empathy and compassion as well as a rigorous interest in the therapeutic process. This combination allows me to foster greater openness with my clients while helping them to progress towards specific goals.

Practice description

I understand the challenges of modern life and the complex pressures which people face in their personal and professional lives. Through therapy I can give you the space to explore your situation and examine the obstacles which affect your happiness and wellbeing. I’ll help you to better understand your perspective and power, while supporting you to discover your own insights and answers.

Talking therapy really isn’t as scary as it sounds. It’s about working on yourself and developing a deeper understanding, so you can get more out of life and fulfil your potential.

If this sparks your interest, then please contact me for a complimentary call to discuss how we can work together.

My first session

In your first session let’s explore what’s brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out doing the work. At the same time, we can look at whether time-focused or long-term therapy, is going to be the right choice for you. I think it’s important to use this initial session to see if we’re a good fit and talk about how we can work together.
