It takes a lot of energy to keep up an appearance of success, if you’re struggling to cope on the inside. If you feel bad when you stop to think about your life. I can help.

Many creative, sensitive, intelligent, and capable people struggle emotionally with low self-esteem/self-worth. Its hard to improve things alone. I've spent many years learning how to improve life, studying theories and methods to help people with their mental health, and I will help you make the changes you want. Not just by trying to change the symptoms of the problem, but by addressing the root causes. So you can be confident, love yourself, feel happy and connected, with hope for the future while enjoying the present.

I began providing therapy over 25 years ago. I don’t judge, or shock easily you. I will be in your corner, provide you with information and strategies, respect you and listen to you.

Practice description

I will work in ways that help you as an individual by using methods that work for you. 

The initial sessions include assessment. Together we will agree on how we move forward with your personalised treatment plan. For example, you may feel you need a safe space, coping strategies, help with boundaries, handling emotions and relationships. To become aware of the root causes of your issue, handle historic abuse and address problems. You may want to deal with loss, specific issues, dark thoughts, and find your way forward. We will look at the best methods to help you and can revisit and review the way we work together to help you at your own pace. You may only need a few sessions, or prefer ongoing support to address difficult issues in your own time, once you have improved coping skills to help you manage your feelings. 

We can utilise many different ways of working including educative approaches, CBT, Person Centred, and methods drawn from DBT, TA, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and many other highly effective ways of working, according to your needs.

This is your therapy and I want to help you achieve the life you deserve and develop personally. 

My first session

An assessment is started in the first session. We do this together. It is also therapeutic, and a chance for you to tell your story if you want. Assessment and review of treatment methods are ongoing.
