About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes it can feel as though you don’t want to burden your friends and family with what is on your mind and that you need someone to talk to who is completely removed from your life. I will give you that opportunity, enabling you to be completely honest, be accepted just as you are whilst talking about whatever you need to without being judged or told what you should do.
We will work together through whatever you need to. As a Person Centred Counsellor I do this by listening to what you need and find helpful and then incorporating any elements of other theories into your sessions, as you decide.
*All sessions are currently telephone or online*
My first session
After your initial 30 minute telephone consultation our first counselling session together will involve us getting to know more about one another. It is for you to ask any further questions you have, to tell me more about what you want from your counselling and to discuss if there is anything in particular you want to do in your sessions.
Our first session is also for me to gain a greater understanding of what your life is like right now and what you are looking for from me as your counsellor.
