About me and my therapy practice
The prospect of having counselling could be daunting. I am able to provide a supportive and neutral environment where it is possible to explore emotions and communicate in ways you may find difficult at present. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you are accepted and together, we are able to explore and understand any problems or concerns that you may have.
I have the benefit of being an Integrative Practitioner, which means I am professionally trained in Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural therapies.I practice by using the knowledge of more than one approach to ensure that the therapy I offer is flexible and suited for each of my clients, respecting that every individual is unique.
At our initial consultation, we will have the opportunity to talk about your concerns and your thoughts that may have led you to seek counselling. This will be an opportunity to determine whether we are able to work together. You may wish to think about our initial assessment before deciding whether you feel counselling will offer you a way forward.
