About me and my therapy practice

 I am an Integrative Psychotherapist dedicated to empowering you on your journey towards inner peace. With over a decade of experience in Psychology, I hold degrees in applied psychology and psychological studies. My shift towards psychotherapy occurred during a Humanistic therapy certification course, redirecting my focus from clinical psychology.

I furthered my education with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University, equipping me with the knowledge to guide individuals through their mental health challenges. I am passionate about utilizing my skills to support you in achieving emotional well-being.

Practice description

In our sessions, I employ a diverse range of modalities and therapeutic interventions tailored to address your specific struggles and goals. As a practitioner of Person-centered therapy, I prioritize your autonomy, allowing you to guide the direction of our sessions.

I create a safe and supportive environment characterized by empathy, honesty, and unconditional positive regard. This atmosphere encourages you to delve into your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, unpacking concerns in a manner that feels comfortable for you. Throughout this process, my role is to provide guidance and structure, facilitating your exploration and aiming to empower you to make positive and lasting changes, ultimately helping you regain a sense of control in your life.

My first session

1) Complimentary Initial Consultation

Embark on your therapeutic journey with a complimentary, no-obligation 20-minute online consultation. It's an opportunity for you to ask any questions, explore our compatibility, and determine if I am the right companion for your personal journey. Should you choose to proceed, we can collaboratively devise a plan that aligns with your needs, ensuring a meaningful path forward in our sessions.

2) In-depth Initial Assessment

During this phase, we'll engage in a casual yet insightful therapeutic assessment and review our therapeutic agreement. Conversations may delve into relevant life history and your current circumstances, laying the groundwork for the focus of our sessions. Flexibility is key, allowing us to adapt based on the evolving nature of your experiences throughout our time together.

3) Commencement of First Therapy Session

Following the assessment, we'll have a clear understanding of the direction you wish to pursue and the goals you aspire to achieve by the conclusion of our therapeutic relationship. This sets the stage for our initial therapy session, marking the beginning of our collaborative work towards your well-being.
