About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Psychodynamic Counsellor and I have in depth experience of working with adults who have experienced bereavement , depression, anxiety, poor mental health, personality disorders or other complex life difficulties or simply ask the question who am I or what is my life direction ?
In my work I aim to meet as wide a group of clients as possible including those who do not speak English as their first language . For the same reason I undertake continuous training in professional development.
I am Psychodynamicly trained but over the years I have found it helpful to combine the Psychodynamic with the Person Centred approach .My work as a counsellor is to get to know you and to build a good relationships ,creating a safe space for you as the client to be able to work together on exploring whatever might concern you and being able to relate to things from a different perspective . Hopefully this will enable us to find the best way forward for you .
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I have regular supervision
