About me and my therapy practice

My passion and experience in counselling has led to a special interest in supporting women to grow their self-esteem, develop trust in themselves and find their inner strength and voice.

Have you experienced micro-aggressions, bullying, misogyny, sexism, ageism, abuse? Has your upbringing or our society told you to "not make a fuss" and that your voice and your opinion do not matter? Are you your harshest critic, never feeling good enough? You might be tired and exhausted of pretending to be alright. Maybe you don’t recognise yourself and feel trapped and alone.

Being heard, understood and accepted in therapy helps you to find your confidence and your way forward. In a welcoming environment, you can become more accepting of yourself and discover and develop your abilities.

Practice description

I offer you a warm, non-judgemental space to talk about your difficulties and problems. As we all have different experiences, I believe that you know yourself best, so I will follow your lead. I trust you will find me empathic, authentic and supportive in finding your power and your resilience.

My first session

In an initial free telephone conversation, you can tell me what you hope to achieve from counselling. It is an opportunity for you to get to know me and to see how therapy with me might work. After the first session we can decide if we are a good fit for each other. We will then have regular reviews of our work.

Availability

For Walk and Talk Therapy I currently have availability on Wednesdays in Ealing.

I also work online and from a room in Chiswick.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer Walk and Talk Therapy in Ealing. Instead of sitting in a room, we will be walking alongside. You will determine the pace, decide if you would like to sit down for a while or engage with your surroundings. Walk and talk therapy combines therapy and exercise with the benefit of being in nature. The NHS recommends walking for your mental and physical health.

My passion and experience in counselling has led to a special interest in supporting women to grow their self-esteem, develop trust in themselves and find their inner strength and voice.

After the first session we can decide if we are a good fit for each other. We will then have regular reviews of our work.

You can always move the session from outdoors to online, if you give me 24 hours notice.
