About me and my therapy practice

I am Hanna. With warmth and empathy I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can thrive and explore your thoughts and feelings freely. My goal is to help you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, to discover and develop your potential and to support you in finding your options for change. In our sessions, you are the expert of your own experience.

Since 2017, I support clients in navigating challenges such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, loneliness, abuse, trauma, low self-confidence, menopause, loss, stress. Therapy is a confidential space in which you can bring anything that is on your mind. Being heard, understood and accepted in therapy helps you to find your confidence and your way forward.

In W5 I offer in-person and Walk and Talk Therapy. Instead of sitting in a room, we will be walking alongside. You will determine the pace, decide if you would like to sit down for a while or engage with your surroundings. Walk and talk therapy combines therapy and exercise with the benefit of being in nature. The NHS recommends walking for your mental and physical health.

You can see me online from anywhere in the UK and Europe.

Practice description

My therapeutic approach centres around the belief that individuals inherently possess the capacity for self-awareness and positive growth. I believe in a collaborative process, where we work together to explore your strengths, challenges and goals. As we all have different experiences, I believe that you know yourself best, so I will follow your lead.

Though my focus lies in working with women, I welcome people with other gender identities who think I might be the right counsellor for them. Whether you are navigating personal growth, coping with stress, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing micro-aggressions or bullying, I am here to accompany you on your journey.

Experience

I am working with clients since 2017 and had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life. From 2018 to 2021 I worked with an organisation that specialises in counselling domestic abuse survivors.

I regularly engage in professional development activities to stay informed, enhance my skills and ensure that I provide the most effective and compassionate work.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I am Hanna. With warmth and empathy, I provide a safe environment for you to explore, heal and thrive. My therapeutic approach centres around the belief that individuals inherently possess the capacity for self-awareness and positive growth. I believe in a collaborative process, where we work together to explore your strengths, challenges and goals.

I see clients in person and online. In Ealing I offer Walk and Talk Therapy. Instead of sitting in a room, we will be walking alongside. You will determine the pace, decide if you would like to sit down for a while or engage with your surroundings. Walk and talk therapy combines therapy and exercise with the benefit of being in nature. The NHS recommends walking for your mental and physical health.

Practice description

Creating a judgement-free environment is essential to me, supporting you to express yourself openly and authentically.

I will be:

  • supporting you to build self-esteem and self-compassion;
  • helping you to recognise your strengths and potential;
  • facilitating healing and empowerment working through past traumas;
  • assisting you to navigate transitions such as menopause, aging, career shifts, while addressing the emotional challenges associated with these life changes.

Though my focus lies in counselling women, I welcome people with other gender identities who think I might be the right counsellor for them. Whether you are navigating personal growth, coping with stress, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing micro-aggressions or bullying, I am here to accompany you on your journey. My goal is to help you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, enhance trust in yourself, to support you in finding your options for change and foster a sense of empowerment.

My first session

Getting started with therapy might be daunting for you. Choosing a therapist is very personal. Because it is a relationship, you need to feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. Text or call me to arrange for a free initial phone or online conversation.

We will discuss what you hope to get from counselling, how I work and what I can offer you. It gives both of us the opportunity to find out if we would like to start working together.

We would also discuss the specifics of Walk and Talk Therapy. I will for example ask you if you are afraid of dogs.

After the first session we can decide if we are a good fit for each other. We will then have regular reviews of our work.

You can always move the session from outdoors to online/telephone, if you give me 24 hours notice.
