About me and my therapy practice

I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and believe that each of us already has our answers. It’s just that sometimes we need a helping hand to unearth them and appreciate our own wisdom and creativity. I work with individuals both short and long term, offering a safe, warm and confidential environment in which to explore their experience with interest and compassion.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist my work is informed by a number of different approaches and is based on the needs of each individual client. I draw particularly on humanistic approaches which appreciate the creativity which can lie behind many of our difficulties,  including coherence therapy, gestalt, sensorimotor therapy, mindfulness, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well as the neuroscience of human motivation, stress management and change. I also use coaching models when they are most likely to help my clients make the changes they seek.

I am on the list of recognised providers for both AXAPPP and Aviva Healthcare.

What I can help with

Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Career coaching, Depression, Eating disorders, Executive coaching, Health related issues, Leadership coaching, Life coaching, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Personal development, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues
