About me and my therapy practice
I started my training as an Adult Psychotherapist in 1998 and by 2004 I was working, as a therapist in the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Since then I have specialised in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, whilst at the same time I have continued some work with adults. In addition to my psychotherapy training I have an Applied Psychology Degree, Systemic Family Therapy Postgraduate, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Graduate Diploma, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Diploma, Solution Focused Therapy Diploma, along with various professional trainings in Parenting, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder. I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor.
I love my job, in fact I don't think there is any other job I would rather do.
I work with families, children, adolescents, adults and I specialise in autism. My style is person centred and solution focused. With over 19 years of experience I draw upon a range of therapeutic philosophies.
